Our storage prices include pick up at your residence (on or off campus), storage for the entire summer
with insurance, drop off at your residence on or off campus the following fall, packing material if needed.

When do I pay or when do I get billed?
Payment is due when you reserve your space. If you store more or less than you originally planned to, adjustments will be made over the summer.

How do I get my packing materials?
A few days before your scheduled pick-up all of your materials will be delivered to your campus. You will be notified of the exact time and location of your drop off by e-mail and text.

What is Box Delivery Day?
Box day is the day at each school that Simply Storage will hand out boxes, tape, & bubble wrap to customers who have signed up for our service and need boxes. If you have your own boxes it is no problem if you use them. Remember to download labels. You will need adobe Acrobat Reader to view this document.

How do I properly pack my stuff for storage?
You can download our Packaging Instructions, in PDF format now. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this document. We do ask that you label two sides and the top of your boxes with your name, school, and summer e-mail address. We also want you to securely tape all boxes and plastic containers. If you store computers or electronic items make sure to use our packaging materials, bedding or clothes to buffer your computer in the box.

Is my stuff insured?
Yes, each storage customer automatically receives $1,000.00 of insurance. Additional insurance can also be purchased Rates of insurance are $15 for every $1000 declared for the entire summer.

Can I store stuff that won’t fit in a box?
Yes we can store almost anything except vehicles. Plastic containers are no problem the way they are and you can fill them with your stuff. Skies, lamps, bicycles, futons, couches, rugs etc. We do not store and are not responsible for cosmetics, candles, money, mirrors or liquid laundry detergent.

Where is my stuff stored?
Your stuff is stored in a secure, climate controlled, military approved warehouse run by professional Atlas Van Lines agents. All your stuff is safe, secured, and insured for the summer.

Do you pick up and deliver off campus?
Simply Storage can pick up your stuff at your residence on or off campus. We also deliver on or off campus to your residence in the fall.

Do I have to be there when you pick up and drop off my stuff?
No you do not, but someone must be there and we need to know that person’s name and contact information. During the pickup we give you an inventory sheet for your records and during the drop off we need a signature before we can drop your stuff off.
How do you keep track of items so they don't get lost or mixed with others?
All customers receive a detailed inventory list of all the items that were signed in on pick-up. Upon delivery in the fall the inventory list is re-checked and signed.

What if I have more or less stuff than what I ordered?
No problem, you will only be billed for the amount of stuff that you store. Remember there is no minimum or maximum amount a customer can store.

Can I cancel my order?
All orders can be cancelled without penalty up until 2 weeks prior to pick-up. If cancellation occurs after then, a $25 cancellation will be issued.

Can I pull my stuff out of storage early?
Yes, you can but there is an additional fee. The earliest that you can get your stuff back is the first day of drop offs at your school.

Can you ship my things home?
As long as items can be boxed, we can ship via UPS. There is an additional service fee plus the cost quoted by UPS.

What if I don’t know my drop off address for the next semester?
After move out, during the summer, you will receive a delivery request and information letter.

We accept checks and major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
